So here it finally is, my second full manga re-edit: Hallow Hallow. Basically, I’ve just taken my re-scan of the book, and re-did the editing using SaHa’s original translation (with a few very minor adjustments here and there).
If you’re unfamiliar with this book, well, just know that the basic premise is two priests are ordered to investigate an island that’s been overrun with “monsters.” The island takes the form of a Castlevania type parody with “Stages” and the “monsters” take the form of various classic horror/fantasy creatures, except they’re sexy ladies. More or less, the priests progress through the island by “raping” the monstergirls until the castle explodes, again, in Castlevania-esque fashion. I put scare quotes on “raping” because even that’s sort of a parody on the whole fake hentai rape genre, in that all the girls are pretty much just sexually frustrated/curious, and it’s more of a, “PLEASE HAVE SEX WITH ME BECAUSE I’VE NEVER HAD SEX/HAVEN’T HAD SEX IN X YEARS! NO STOP RAPING ME! YES KEEP RAPING ME!” So all in all, the book’s just as much of a huge parody piece of a bunch of things as it is a porn manga, though the porn content is of course also very good. Just take note that a few of the later chapters have some futa in it (though it’s all futa on girl sex, so nothing overly strange).
Anyway, not sure what my next big re-edit project will be (probably Sei So Tsui Dan Sha), but I’ve also got some other things coming down the pipe, like more raw re-scans, and I’m also going to be doing the editing on Tadanohito’s re-translation of Michael Keikaku 1 soon. And of course, I still have more Black Dog doujin to re-edit. So we’ll see what the future holds.
